CCTV News: The latest tax data released by the State Administration of Taxation shows that in the first quarter of 2025, my country's key engineering projects were generally progressing smoothly and the growth momentum of project investment was good.
Data shows that in the first quarter of 2025, the number of engineering projects in the country applied for work-related injury insurance by project was 39,000, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%; the total construction cost of the project was 1.9 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%.
Looking at the same time, regional development projects have steadily accelerated. In the first quarter, the major strategy of coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei was steadily implemented. Among them, Hebei applied for 750 engineering projects, an increase of 21.2% year-on-year; the total construction cost of the project was about 44 billion yuan, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become a demonstration site for high-quality development. Among them, Guangdong applied for more than 4,000 engineering projects, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year; the total construction cost of the project was about 190 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year.
The number of applied projects in the Yangtze River Delta region is nearly 11,000, and the construction of multiple inter-provincial transportation routes and inter-provincial cooperation parks is progressing smoothly.
There are more than 5,000 projects in Chengdu and Chongqing, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year; the total cost of the project is about 250 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1% year-on-year.
At the same time, a number of major engineering projects have started one after another. In the first quarter, there were 182 major projects with a total construction cost of over 1 billion yuan, an increase of 41.8% year-on-year; the total construction cost of the project was about 340 billion yuan, an increase of 39.1% year-on-year. Among them, transportation projects rank first.
In addition, a number of "small and beautiful" projects have been implemented one after another. In the first quarter, there were about 17,000 projects with a total construction cost of less than 5 million yuan, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year; the total construction cost of the project was nearly 28 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year, and most of the engineering projects benefit people's livelihood.
