In order to implement the work deployment of the "Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection" by the General Office of the Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, create a healthy and orderly Spring Festival movie viewing environment, and escort the high-quality development of the film industry, relevant departments of the State Copyright Administration, the State Film Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently jointly deployed the special work on the protection of film copyrights in theaters.
The copyright protection of theater movies focuses on three key links: pre-prevention, in-process supervision, and post-process disposal. By strengthening early warning and protection of key works, actively carrying out publicity and guidance, increasing online and offline monitoring and supervision, and investigating and handling cases of theater movie plagiarism and dissemination in accordance with the law, especially focusing on investigating and prosecuting illegal acts such as inducing and instigating minors to conduct secret film and recording and online dissemination of infringement and piracy, strengthening the full-chain protection of theater movie copyrights and further maintaining a good copyright order in the film market.
