The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism that during the May Day holiday, the number of tourists and tourism consumption in Beijing achieved double growth, with the total number of tourists received in the city reaching 17.908 million, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; the total tourism expenditure was 20.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. Among them, 104,000 inbound tourists were received, an increase of 42.4% year-on-year; 1.13 billion yuan of inbound tourism was achieved, an increase of 48% year-on-year.
