CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Transport, on May 3, 2025 (the third day of the Labor Day holiday), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was 289.775 million, a month-on-month decrease of 1% and a year-on-year increase of 7.5%. Among them:
>>The railway passenger volume was 18.137 million, a month-on-month decrease of 7.2% and a year-on-year increase of 8.3%.
>>The flow of highway personnel (including the travel of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 267.4 million, a decrease of 0.6% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. Among them, the number of non-commercial passenger buses on highways was 34.08 million, a month-on-month decrease of 0.6%, and a year-on-year increase of 6.2%; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 233.32 million, a month-on-month decrease of 0.6%, and a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.
>>The water passenger volume was 2.15 million, an increase of 1.3% month-on-month and 13.1% year-on-year.
>>The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.088 million, a decrease of 2.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 13.7%.
