CCTV News (News Network): With the development of artificial intelligence technology, embodied intelligent robots have begun to integrate into our production and life, opening up more and more new ways of human-computer collaboration.

On the May Day holiday, in the tea garden in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, this tea picking robot developed by teachers and students of Zhejiang University of Technology and able to recognize tea with wise eyes is busy in the tea garden. Use the equipped depth camera to obtain three-dimensional information of the buds and lock the specific position of the buds. Then, the two robotic arms will quickly move over, clamp the bud leaves and then lift them off. Its biggest feature is that it simulates the method of picking tea as much as possible to reduce damage to buds and leaves. At present, this tea picking robot is in the experimental stage, and the success rate of tea picking has exceeded 87%. In addition to tea picking robots, four-legged robots are also running flexibly in the tea garden and busy around. They act as "couriers" of tea, and various technological elements have brought new experiences to tea picking.

At present, all regions are constantly increasing the opening of embodied intelligent application scenarios, promoting more and more intelligent robots to enter our lives, and through technological iteration, it helps production labor become safer and more efficient. In Mianyang, Sichuan, a four-legged police robot dog is equipped with sound, light and electricity, and a panoramic gimbal to cooperate with the police to complete the duty work.

In Nanjing, Jiangsu, the first humanoid robot that has obtained explosion-proof level certification is undergoing duty drills. In its toolbox, it is equipped with a variety of tools such as electric drill, saw, and jaws, which can be switched at will. Through multi-modal technology identification such as images, videos, voiceprints, gases, vibrations, etc., it can replace humans for inspection and troubleshooting in some high-risk scenarios.

At Hebei University of Technology, this elderly care robot can extend its super long arms under the cooperation of engineers, steadily pick up the student from the bed and move her to a wheelchair after years of research and development.
