In Yiwu, Zhejiang, a company that produces stand-up paddle boards, workers are busy cutting, hot pressing and welding. In the warehouse, there are already many products ready to be shipped to all parts of the country. The company's head told reporters that since this year, they have clearly felt that the demand for domestic related event products has surged. Since April, they have been working overtime to catch up on orders. Currently, the orders have been scheduled to June, and sales have increased by 10% year-on-year.
Merchants operating water sports equipment in Yiwu International Trade City said that temperatures across the country have rebounded faster this year, and orders have also come earlier than in previous years. Kayaking, paddleboards, inflatable swimming rings and fishing gear have become popular products.
Data shows that since April this year, the order volume of water sports products such as swimming rings and inflatable swimming pools has increased by 166% year-on-year, and the transaction volume has increased by 132% year-on-year.
