Since April 1 this year, there has been less precipitation in southern North China, eastern Northwest, northern central and northern East China, most of South China, and southern southwest China, and other places, with relatively high temperatures, and meteorological drought has developed rapidly. According to meteorological drought monitoring on April 30, moderate and above meteorological droughts exist in most parts of Shaanxi, southern Shanxi, most of Henan, most of Anhui, most of Hubei, central and southern Jiangsu, western and southern Guangxi, central Yunnan, and other places, and particularly droughts in southern Shaanxi, western Henan, southern Jiangsu and southern Guangxi. It is expected that in the next three days, moderate to heavy rain will occur in central and northern South China, southern Yunnan and other places, and local heavy rain will be beneficial to alleviating meteorological drought. Most of the rest of the arid areas will still have less rain, and meteorological drought will continue or develop.
