CCTV News: May 1st is the May Day holiday, and the Road Network Center of the Ministry of Transport released a guide to charging electric vehicles on the May Day holiday.

The Ministry of Transport predicts that most car owners choose to set off on April 30 and May 1. Therefore, starting from 10:00 am on April 30, there will be a charging peak nationwide and will continue until 24:00. On May 1, most car owners chose to set off in the morning, and the charging peak began from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 4th will usher in a peak in charging demand for return trips, from 10 a.m. to 24 a.m.

The transportation departments and power departments in various places have joined forces to ensure the charging of new energy vehicles. In the Dongfu service area of Shenhai Expressway, the local power department has equipped mobile charging robots with free mobile, flexible and convenient mobile charging robots. After the owner scans the QR code of the service area, the mobile charging car that receives the instruction will provide charging services to the vehicle.

In Nanjing Jiangbei New District, local transportation and power departments jointly built a charging facility supervision system integrating Internet of Things monitoring, big data analysis and AI diagnosis, monitoring the operating status of charging piles in the city 24 hours a day to protect the travel of new energy vehicle owners.
