CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Finance, since the beginning of spring this year, droughts have continued to develop in Shanxi, Guangxi, Shaanxi and other places, and the drought has had a certain impact on residents' water use. On April 30, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management pre-allocated 40 million yuan of central natural disaster relief funds to support the above three provinces (regions) in doing a good job in drought relief and disaster relief, focusing on solving the water difficulties of urban and rural residents, purchasing and leasing emergency water storage, water purification and water supply equipment, and organizing personnel to ensure the daily water use of urban and rural residents.
The Ministry of Finance requires the relevant provincial (regional) finance departments to speed up the allocation of funds to the disaster areas, keep up with the development and changes of the drought, timely understand and grasp the emergency rescue fund arrangements and funding needs of the disaster areas, and effectively ensure the safety of residents' water use.
