CCTV News: On the morning of April 30, Vietnam held a grand event in Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification. At the official invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Honorary Brigade participated in a series of commemorative activities such as the military parade.

On that day, a military parade was held in Vietnam, and a large number of Vietnamese people gathered to watch along the way. More than 13,000 people from Vietnamese military, militia, public security and other departments formed more than 60 parade teams for review through the rostrum, and the Vietnamese Air Force's fighter jet and helicopter formations also participated in the parade.
The army from China, Laos and Cambodia also participated in the military parade. At the scene, the uniform and uplifting military posture of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Honors Brigade was warmly welcomed by the Vietnamese people. The cross-border performance of the Chinese guard of honor fully demonstrated and conveyed the deep friendship and mutual trust between the Chinese and Vietnam militaries.
Descendants of senior Chinese officers aiding Vietnam, veterans and family representatives were also invited to attend the parade to watch the ceremony.
