According to the business big data monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, last week (April 21-27), the transaction volume of fruits, meat, eggs and vegetables in 200 large agricultural and sideline products wholesale markets across the country increased by 1.9%, 1.8%, 0.8% and 0.6% respectively compared with the previous week. On April 29, the prices of grain, edible oil and pork were basically the same as a week ago, while the prices of vegetables, eggs, mutton and beef fell slightly respectively.

Before the festival, the Ministry of Commerce deployed localities to do a good job in market monitoring and supply of daily necessities during the May Day holiday, and launched a daily monitoring system for daily necessities during the festival. Guide commercial and distribution enterprises to strengthen production and sales connection, increase stocking efforts, combine the characteristics of festival consumption and the personalized needs of residents, enrich the types of goods, increase the supply of hot-selling festival commodities such as meat, fruits, and aquatic products, increase the frequency of replenishment listing, and ensure sufficient and stable supply in the festival market.

Hainan has opened a "green channel" for fresh agricultural products in response to the peak traffic flow in the Qiongzhou Strait to ensure efficient passage of 2,500 trucks per day. Hangzhou organized the fresh food e-commerce platform to send additional delivery personnel, and coordinated the surrounding bases to supply 800 tons of vegetables directly every day, increasing the supply of key agricultural wholesale markets and supermarkets.
