The reporter learned from the Tourism Bureau of the Macao SAR Government that the bureau once again launched the "free direct bus tickets and boat tickets", providing international passengers visiting Hong Kong (except Greater China) with one-way free buses and passenger ship discounts from Hong Kong to Macau from May 1 to December 31. This is the promotion of this offer after 2024, aiming to attract more international passengers to extend their trip to Macau and continue to expand international customer base.

It is understood that after arriving at Hong Kong International Airport, international passengers visiting Hong Kong only need to present a valid foreign travel document and boarding pass at the designated counter in the restricted area to receive free tickets. International passengers can make an appointment in advance for free shipping tickets to Australia with valid foreign travel documents and boarding permit stubs, electronic air tickets or transportation tickets that arrive in Hong Kong within 7 days.

Purchases can book in advance through the official websites of "Hong Kong Airport Passenger Transport Service (Macao) Co., Ltd.", "Sinde China Travel Shipping Management (Macao) Co., Ltd." and "Golden Ferry Co., Ltd.", and "Golden Ferry Co., Ltd.", and will receive a "free direct bus ticket and boat ticket" discount during the discount period.

It is reported that the Tourism Bureau of the Macao SAR Government launched relevant ticket and boat ticket discounts in 2023, and the first "free direct bus ticket and boat ticket" discount for international passengers visiting Hong Kong (not Greater China) from February to December 2024. The 11-month discount project in 2024 has driven more than 310,000 passengers to Macau for tourism consumption.
