In the first quarter, the sales revenue of elderly care services increased by 65.5% year-on-year, and the sales revenue of elderly care institutions increased by 23.9% year-on-year, showing a rapid growth trend. Infant and toddler health care consumption grew rapidly, with sales revenue of nursery services increasing by 12.2% year-on-year in the first quarter.
Digital technology empowers the rapid growth of healthy consumption. In the first quarter, sales revenue of health monitoring equipment represented by smart bracelets, blood pressure monitors, blood sugar monitors, electrocardiogram monitors, etc. increased by 41.6% year-on-year, driving sales revenue of smart consumer equipment manufacturing increased by 26.4% year-on-year.
The multi-dimensional health concept helps improve healthy consumption. Healthy lifestyles are becoming increasingly popular. In the first quarter, sales revenue of sports consulting and sports health services increased by 34.1% and 12.3% year-on-year respectively, and sales revenue of sports goods manufacturing increased by 10.8% year-on-year. The change in the concept of physical and mental health has created new demand for healthy consumption. In the first quarter, the sales revenue of health insurance increased by 5.5% year-on-year, and the sales revenue of psychological counseling and health consulting industries increased by 20.7% and 5.4% year-on-year respectively. The concept of health preservation and medicinal diet therapy has gradually gained popularity, and the retail sales revenue of nutrition and health products in the first quarter increased by 5.2% year-on-year.
