In order to implement the requirements of the General Office of the State Council's "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Supervision Reform of Drugs and Medical Devices to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry" (Guobanfa [2024] No. 53), further improve the efficiency of batch issuance of influenza vaccines, and effectively protect the health of the people, the State Food and Drug Administration decided to adjust the batch issuance of influenza vaccines from 60 working days to 45 working days. The relevant matters are notified as follows: 1. Please inform the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) Drug Administration to notify the influenza vaccine batch issuing agencies in their administrative regions. From the date of issuing this notice, the time limit for the influenza vaccine product batch issuing will be adjusted to 45 working days. Products that have been accepted before release but have not yet completed batch issuance, the 60 working day will continue to be implemented.
2. Relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) drug supervision and administration bureaus should strengthen the daily management of the issuing agencies within their administrative regions, urge and guide the issuing agencies to promote the construction of the issuing capacity, and continuously improve the quality management level of the issuing agencies.
3. Please ask the China Food and Drug Inspection Institute and the influenza vaccine batch issuance agency to reasonably optimize the batch issuance work process based on actual conditions, steadily improve the batch issuance work efficiency, and ensure that the batch issuance work issuance work is completed within the prescribed time limit.
