CCTV News: In Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, many places combine "spring outings" with "agricultural experience", allowing tourists to transform from "one-day tour" to "in-depth tour", and driving the local homestay industry to usher in "spring blossoms".

In a B&B in Yefushan Town, Lujiang County, the housekeeper is taking tourists to learn the ancient method of tie dyeing. Visitors collect flowers and plants locally around the homestay, carefully combine patterns, and then carefully tap them with a small hammer. The juice of plants and flowers will slowly soak onto the cloth bag, which is both beautiful and environmentally friendly. Through the "B&B + Farming Cultural Experience" model, the average customer unit price of B&B here has increased by 20%.

There are not only tie-dyes, but also agricultural experiences such as picking spring tea and digging spring bamboo shoots, allowing tourists to enjoy it. The local area has also launched a "Spring Plowing Card". Tourists participating in agricultural activities such as tea picking, bamboo shoot digging, and fruit sprinkling can redeem B&B coupons, effectively extending tourists' stay time. Since the beginning of spring, the homestays here have been basically full, and it is hard to find a room during holidays.

According to statistics from the Lujiang County Culture and Tourism Bureau, there are 103 rural homestays in the county, with revenue of 63 million yuan in 2024. The "B&B + Industry" integration model has driven more than 1,400 villagers to find employment, with an annual average income of about 50,000 yuan.
