High-quality development·Diary on site丨The "Technology Chain" in the Science and Technology City
2025-05-04 source:Xinhuanet

Xinhua News Agency, Tianjin, February 25 (Reporters Yin Siyuan and Wang Ning) There is an intelligent connected bus line in Baodi District, Tianjin. There is no driver on the bus, only a safety officer is equipped. It takes only 18 minutes to get to Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City.

On the 11th anniversary of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the reporter came here again and saw the "technology chain" of this science and technology city.

As an important platform for relieving Beijing's non-capital functions, breaking the "one acre and three parts of land", playing a "one game of chess" together, and coordinating development and operation is the unique feature of Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City. Gu Zicheng, deputy director of the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City Management Committee, introduced that since Zhongguancun and Baodi District "joined hands" to cooperate, the two parties have jointly established Tianjin Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City Development Co., Ltd. to be responsible for the operation and development of the park. Since then, Zhongguancun and Baodi District have been closely "chained" together.

"This intelligent connected bus route is a vivid reflection of the linkage between Beijing and Tianjin." This route is operated by Yunkong Zhixing Technology Co., Ltd., and the project leader Su Sen introduced that the project is based on Tsinghua University's technical accumulation in the field of smart cars, and builds the "strongest brain" for the coordinated operation of vehicles, roads and clouds.

The reporter sat in the intelligent connected bus and drove smoothly. Whenever he arrived at the intersection, the traffic lights would always switch to the green lights as if they were "eyes".

Susen pointed to the inconspicuous "street light poles" on the roadside and told reporters that the secret of the signal light "clear ears and bright eyes" is hidden in these "street light poles". They have visible information such as street signs and signal lights, as well as lidar and various sensors. With the help of artificial intelligence algorithms, "invisible information" is also constantly transmitted. "We have also connected to smart platform systems, intelligent dispatching systems, ride-hailing mini programs, etc., and have realized a complete intelligent connected bus operation ecosystem in Baodi District." Su Sen said.

Since its operation in February 2024, this intelligent connected bus line has completed nearly 2,000 departures, with a safe mileage of nearly 40,000 kilometers.

On the large screen of the cloud control platform of Baodi District Intelligent Networked Bus Demonstration Line Operation Center, vehicle location information, traffic conditions in the area, etc. are clear at a glance. "Relying on the 'Zhongguancun-like' ecological system, the 'Beijing R&D and Baodi Transformation' model is becoming more and more mature." Su Sen pointed to the big screen and said, "Now our R&D team is gradually growing, and our research results can also be implemented in some areas of Beijing and Hebei. This 'technology chain' is getting longer and longer, and there are more and more members on the 'chain'."

In the 11 years since the implementation of the major national strategy for coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the three places have continuously improved the cooperation mechanism, focused on key industries, and determined the focus of industrial collaboration work for the "six chains and five groups". In recent years, a number of large and good projects have been successively launched in science and technology cities, and the industrial agglomeration effect has begun to show. Taking the new energy and intelligent connected automobile industry as an example, many companies such as Tianjin Ruike Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. and Kakusi Auto Parts (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. have been completed and put into production, and the chain effect has been further strengthened.

"This place has both the location advantage of linking Beijing and Tianjin, and a good business environment. After multiple comparisons, enterprises have also taken a fancy to the industrial agglomeration effect here." said Zhang Jinguo, deputy general manager of Tianjin Ruike Automation Technology Co., Ltd.

Standing on the high ground of the Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City Management Committee, around the factory buildings rose from the ground, and the project construction was in full swing. Not only are there new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industries, but new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine and other industries are gradually gathering together, and a new blueprint for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is slowly unfolding here.

Since the official breakdown of ground in 2017, Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City has registered more than 1,800 market entities. In 2024, tax revenue in Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City increased by 13% year-on-year, fixed asset investment increased by 31.8% year-on-year, and industrial output value above designated size increased by 62% year-on-year.

"In the future, we will adhere to the concept of 'growing production with people', continue to cultivate the 'test field' of coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, build a community of interests in cooperation between Beijing, Tianjin and Tianjin, deepen the interest sharing mechanism, continuously optimize the business environment, improve urban supporting facilities, and use the successful practice of Beijing, Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City to explore the way for Chinese-style modernization construction." Wang Hao, deputy mayor of Baodi District, Tianjin and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Beijing, Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City.
