In terms of freight, the Three Gorges Hub has a cumulative freight volume of 15.51 million tons. Among them, the Three Gorges Ship Lock operated 1,024 times, 3,642 ships passed, and the cargo volume passed exceeded 15.38 million tons, an increase of 12.76% over the same period last year's Spring Festival travel rush. The Three Gorges ship lifts operated 289 chassis times on load and passed 289 ships. In terms of passenger transport, the Three Gorges ship lifts passed by more than 33,500 passengers, an increase of 93.94% over the same period last year's Spring Festival travel rush.
The safe and stable operation of the Three Gorges ship locks and ship lifts not only helps the Yangtze River golden waterway remain unobstructed, but also provides strong support for the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
