The two ships jointly designed and cooperated with each other to form the best combination of marine engineering installation in my country. They can operate in the sea area 100 kilometers offshore, providing strong support for my country's offshore wind power to advance into the deep sea.
Offshore wind power "Gemini" installation ship is the fourth generation of wind power marine engineering equipment in my country, and it is also the latest generation of wind power installation ship in the world. Compared with the third-generation offshore equipment, qualitative improvements have been achieved in terms of technology and performance. This combination of offshore engineering "Gemini" is one of the wind power installation ship combinations with the strongest wind and wave resistance, the best comprehensive installation capabilities, and the highest operating efficiency and intelligence level in my country. Zhang Weifeng, chief engineer of China Power Construction Marine Engineering Construction Company, introduced that it only takes 2-3 days for the two ships to complete the installation of an offshore wind turbine, which is 30% higher than the installation speed of the third-generation wind power installation ship, and can withstand strong winds of level 16 and 12 meters of sea waves. It will become the core equipment for my country to promote the large-scale development of deep-sea wind power.
