From villages and households, do home visits and listen to public opinion; conduct research in breeding farms and gather people's voices. Before the National People's Congress was held, Li Guangxia, a member of the National People's Congress, secretary of the Party Branch of Santai Village, Dajing Town, Gulang County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, traveled around and outside the village every day like in previous years, understanding the demands of the masses, listening to the voices of the masses, and conscientiously performing her duties.
From serving as the Party Branch Secretary of Santai Village in 2020, leading villagers to get rich, to being elected as a National People's Congress representative in 2023, Li Guangxia has always been committed to doing practical things for the people.
Santai Village is a centralized resettlement site for relocation of ecological and geological disasters in Gulang County. Around New Year's Day 2025, 92 households moved into their new homes one after another, becoming the first batch of residents in this two-story building.
In order to enable villagers to "mov out, stay stable, and get rich", Li Guangxia took the lead in establishing the Santai Village Collective Economic Professional Cooperative on the basis of full research to mobilize farmers in the village who are willing to breed to build breeding sheds. At present, a total of 450 breeding greenhouses have been built, and the village's cattle and sheep inventory has reached more than 30,000 (only), promoting the development of the village's breeding industry towards a large-scale and scientific direction.
Li Guangxia performed her duties conscientiously, fulfilled her mission, and transformed the trust of the masses into the responsibility and trust of "being a good representative for the people", worked hard, made silent efforts, and wrote her own "representative performance answer sheet" with her heart.
