Fuzhou Changle, the largest production base for nylon civilian silk, warp knitted lace fabric and chemical fiber blended yarn in the country, has formed a full industrial chain layout from "one drop of oil", "one rope" to "one piece of cloth".
The production workshop of Fujian Yongrong Jinjiang Co., Ltd. located in Changle District is running rapidly. The raw materials used to produce nylon yarn are no longer petroleum extracts, but waste textiles.

■R&D Director, Fujian Yongrong Jinjiang Co., Ltd. Liming:
"Aiselon" (post-consumer recycled nylon fiber) product is Yongrong Jinjiang's independent innovative environmentally friendly recycled green product. Through our independent supercritical technical route, the entire process does not require any chemical agents, thereby realizing the recycling of discarded nylon clothing fabrics and making environmentally friendly recycled fibers.

Compared with native fibers, every 1 ton of "Aiselen" produced reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 3 tons. In terms of performance, "Aiselen" is almost the same as native fibers, achieving economic development and low carbon emissions parallel.
■Wang Zhiqiang, senior manager of the spinning factory of Fujian Yongrong Jinjiang Co., Ltd.: Our raw materials are our slices. We use a pipeline conveying system, which is directly invested into our production line by relying on the system. During the production process, we use an automated winder, which automatically inspects externally and then automatically enters the warehouse. We use a three-dimensional warehouse, which are all automated.

Anchoring innovation, extending the chain, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading has become a consensus among the leading textile enterprises in Changle.
The raw material benzene is isolated from petroleum and then the upstream raw material of cyclohexanone, caprolactam. Caprolactam is mainly used to synthesize polyamide fibers. Polyamide fiber is commonly known as nylon or nylon. It is an important material for weaving fabrics. There are many different types, and the commonly used ones include "nylon-6". Once upon a time, caprolactam was highly dependent on supply from international chemical giants. In order to get rid of the dilemma of being controlled by caprolactam supply, in 2013, Hengshen Holdings Group Co., Ltd., headquartered in Changle, established Fujian Shenyuan New Materials Co., Ltd., aiming at a goal: independently producing caprolactam.
■Chen Jianlong, Chairman of Hengshen Holding Group Co., Ltd.:
Caprolactam is not just a simple construction of a factory, unlike a polymerization factory, unlike a spinning factory, or a weaving factory, I just need to build a factory, and I just need to buy raw materials alone. It requires a lot of supporting facilities, such as dock supporting facilities, such as hydrogen synthesis ammonia.

In 2017, the integrated project of Shenyuan Phase I produced 400,000 tons of caprolactam and polyamide was put into production. In 2018, Hengshen Group acquired the Dutch Fobnet caprolactam and related businesses, becoming a global caprolactam supplier giant, and was the first in the world to complete the complete layout of the "Nylon-6" eight industrial chain.

Data shows that the private economy contributes more than 80% of the tax revenue, more than 80% of the GDP, more than 80% of the technological innovation achievements and more than 90% of the jobs in Changle District. According to statistics from the Changle District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, in 2024, the number of textile and garment enterprises above the designated size in Changle District increased to 279, with a total industrial output value of 164.4 billion yuan, accounting for 63% of the total industrial output value above the designated size in the district.
Add to be innovative and researched, explore new quality productivity from the traditional textile industry, and Changle textile enterprises have opened up a new world for the development of the private economy.
