CCTV News: Affected by cold air and rain and snow, temperatures in most parts of China have gradually dropped to recent lows. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that there will be more rainy weather in southern China from the 22nd to the 23rd. There will be light to moderate rain in the southwest, Jiangnan and other places, and heavy rain in some places. At the same time, there is frequent rain and snow in southeastern Tibet, and heavy snow is found in some areas.

This weekend, temperatures in most parts of China will gradually drop to recent lows. Among them, there is less rain and snow in the north, mainly dry and cold. The highest temperature in Jilin, Heilongjiang and other places is below minus 5℃, and there is only around 5℃ from central and southern North China to the Huanghuai area.

On the 21st, light snow or sleet occurred in some areas of north-central and southern Shanxi, and the temperature dropped. In Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, it is the peak period of getting off work when snow falls. Snowflakes are falling from the sky, and vehicles on the road lower their speed to ensure safety. It is understood that in the next fourteen days, there will be three cold air activities in Shanxi Province.

The Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory announced on the 21st that light snow or sleet occurred in southern Zhangjiakou, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, Handan and other places. Starting from the middle of the night on the 20th, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province ushered in the first round of snowfall in the Year of the Snake, and the snowfall reached its highest on the morning of the 21st. The temperature also dropped accordingly, with the lowest temperature dropping below zero. The snowfall has also had a certain impact on the city's traffic, and some highway sections have adopted speed limits and traffic restrictions.

Cold air and warm and humid air flow frequently intersect, allowing Zhejiang to enter the strongest period of rain and snow. Moderate rain occurred in most parts of Zhejiang, with heavy to blizzards in the alpine areas. The deepest snow in Lin'an Prince Jian, Daming Mountain and other places reached 5-7 cm. The Zhejiang Provincial Climate Center announced that another round of precipitation will usher in two days on the weekend, with snow in some mountainous areas.

Many places in Jiangxi usher in a new round of precipitation. In the Shiji section of Quannan Expressway, high-speed maintenance personnel focus on conducting hidden danger inspections at bridges, tunnels, high slopes and other points through drone-assisted patrols, and make every effort to ensure the safety and smoothness of the expressway. In high-altitude scenic spots such as Lushan and Taiping Mountain in Jiangxi, heavy snow has been encountered one after another. The beautiful spring snow has attracted many tourists to come and enjoy the snow.

On the 22nd, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in some areas of Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi, Hubei, Western Sichuan Plateau, etc., among which heavy snow was locally in southeastern Gansu. There will be light to moderate rain in some areas such as Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan, Southwest, and most of South China, and heavy rain in some areas.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that starting next week, cold air activity will weaken and temperatures will rise across the country. The north is mainly sunny weather, and the temperature will gradually turn to a relatively high state. On the 26th, cities such as Xining, Urumqi, and Zhengzhou may all usher in a new temperature high this year, with the cumulative temperature increase of more than 10℃.
