"Charge 1 km in 1 second". The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission that this year, Beijing will increase its efforts to build new energy vehicle charging facilities, of which more than 1,000 super charging stations will reach more than 1,000.
Recently, the "2025 Work Points of Beijing's Accelerating the Construction of an International Green Economy Benchmark City" was released, which clarified that it is necessary to continue to promote the development of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, comprehensively improve the service capabilities of energy replenishment infrastructure, promote the construction of charging facilities in key areas, units and special areas, and build more than 1,000 super charging stations in total. By the end of 2024, 65 super charging stations and 240 super charging piles distributed in 15 districts in the city have started construction. These super charging stations generally set up no less than two super charging piles with power of more than 360 kilowatts, and are committed to achieving a charging speed of "1 second charging 1 km".
Chen Yongshen, deputy director of the Energy Department of the Beijing Development and Reform Commission: The charging service time has been shortened from nearly an hour to the current 15-20 minutes, greatly improving the charging experience. At the same time, through the construction of super charging stations, the promotion and application of electric vehicles has also been enhanced.
It is understood that after these projects are completed, they can significantly increase the energy replenishment speed of new energy vehicles in Beijing, accelerate the promotion and application of new energy vehicles, and effectively alleviate the charging difficulties caused by insufficient charging piles in some communities.
