Education is a science of educating people. Respecting students, stimulating interests, following the rules, finding the right methods, improving mechanisms, and improving efficiency, can achieve mutual learning and mutual learning. With this belief in mind, I left Zhejiang and set foot on the plateau of Aba, Sichuan, with an altitude of 3,300 meters. The first class I can’t remember until now: Outside the classroom, the cold wind rolled the gravel straight into my collar; in the classroom, the eyes of students from various ethnic groups such as Han, Tibetan, Qiang, Hui, etc. were shiny. I remembered that it was difficult for students here to pass the general college entrance examination to get into undergraduate colleges, and I remembered that some parents said bluntly, "What's the use of studying? It's better to go home and put yaks." In an instant, my nose was sore. Never once, I wanted to push open this window so that the children in the mountains could see the endless world.

To break through the wall, you must first find the weak points. When I first arrived, I conducted a big survey: the teacher's lesson plan was perfunctory, the students' foundation was weak, and many people scored less than 30 points in math exams; parents were indifferent to education and believed that "making money is more real than reading." Where problems are crowded is the key to breaking the deadlock. In education and teaching, the word "teaching" is the first priority, and the problems of teachers' thoughts and abilities need to be solved first.

Let the teacher be motivated, good at exercising and willing to work hard. It is useless to just talk about the big principles. The key is to form psychological identity. Every weekly morning meeting, we no longer arrange leaders to speak, but instead ask front-line teachers to stand on the podium and tell our own educational stories. Art teacher Liu Chengzhi, who caught a cold, brought an oxygen bottle to tutor students; old teacher Tan He has been rooted in pastoral areas for 30 years and has built a bridge of education with perseverance... Gradually, "education pioneer" has become the most proud title of teachers. Leading the trend with role models and making careers a pride, everyone's enthusiasm for teaching has been unprecedentedly high, and the honor of teachers has gone from "no grains to no harvest" to winning 10 provincial awards in one year.

What should I do if a student has a poor foundation and forgets when he first teaches? We have launched a tutor system to guide our studies and guide our lives; we have built a "problem-theme-special topic-theme" model, and through teacher competitions and lesson grinding, we can integrate teaching needs and guidance requirements; we have determined that the 11th of each month is the "Teaching Reflection Day", "tailor-made" learning plan for students, and set up "class research and sports" to learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses. By innovating student cultivation models and reconstructing the classroom teaching system, the education landscape has been completely renewed, and the transformation from "full of books to full classroom" to "interesting and voluntary learning in the classroom". Compared with the eastern region, there is still a certain gap in educational resources in the western mountainous region, which objectively limits the children's horizons. East-West collaboration is to break this barrier. We introduced off-campus resources, and student Zexiu discovered his programming talent through evaluation. In just half a year, his drone programming club won the first prize in the state-level competition. He said: "I used to think that children on the plateau could only grazing, but now I know the code can also fly over the snow-capped mountains." During the winter and summer vacations, we organized students to study in Beijing and Zhejiang, watch the flag-raising of Tiananmen Square and pay tribute to the red boats in Nanhu. A Tibetan student wrote in his diary: "Standing on the Great Wall, I realized that my dream is not only to get out of the mountains, but also to lead the mountains to the world." Urban-rural integration, regional coordination, and mountain-sea cooperation have never been slogans. Every little thing we do today is accumulating steps and will eventually reach thousands of miles.

The child who once bowed his head and dodged is now confidently dancing "Red Mountain" on the stage; at the parent meeting of graduates, a Tibetan father presented Hada to the teachers, "It turns out that reading can really change destiny"... "Every beam of light shines brightly." The "light" of Aba County Middle School is the light that has not been turned off in the classroom late at night, and the starlight in the eyes of students when talking about their dreams. The persistence of countless teachers and students has allowed plateau education to continue to break through. This road is very difficult, but when you look back, countless Gesang flowers have bloomed stubbornly. We will continue to move forward with hope and light up more dreams with the spark of education.
