CCTV News: According to the website of the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland, on February 3, the Consulate General received a request for help saying that while a bulk carrier was sailing in the waters near Wangarey, New Zealand, Mr. Li, a Chinese crew member on the ship, suffered a stroke and was later sent to the local hospital for treatment through emergency medical rescue services. However, because the family did not understand English, they could not contact the hospital to understand Mr. Li's condition, and they were very anxious.

After receiving the report, the Consulate General called Mr. Li's family to express condolences, contacted Mr. Li's hospital, and urged the hospital to do its best to treat and promptly inform the family of the progress.
