The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently held a on-site meeting to promote the construction of a waiting warehouse for allocation and affordable housing in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The meeting required that all localities should issue management measures for allotment-type affordable housing, formulate unified allocation conditions and standards for the city and county, clarify management processes and policy guidelines such as barrier objects, access conditions, waiting order, exit mechanism, and establish a normalized application acceptance mechanism and departmental joint review mechanism.
Relevant person in charge said that all localities should take the construction of the waiting warehouses in a solid manner and effectively promote the implementation and effectiveness of the construction of allotment-based affordable housing. Based on the waiting needs for allotment affordable housing in the region, we should study and formulate an action plan for the construction of allotment affordable housing, and include the waiting needs in the annual construction and financing plan.
According to the reporter, the people entering the waiting database are those who meet the access conditions. Currently, 2,700 households in Qingdao have been included in the waiting warehouse ranking. On this basis, we will adhere to the principle of "construction based on needs" and "ordering for purchase based on needs" to determine the "15th Five-Year Plan" and annual plan for allocated affordable housing. The participants said that in the next step, in accordance with the requirements of the meeting, we will promote the establishment of a waiting warehouse for allocated affordable housing, accelerate the development of allocated affordable housing, and better meet the rigid housing needs of urban workers with housing difficulties.
