Not long ago, the two 40-meter-caliber radio telescope projects in Shigatse and Changbai Mountain under the responsibility of Shen Zhiqiang were completed and put into use, upgrading my country's Very Long Baseline Interference Measurement (VLBI) network from the original "four stations and one center" to "six stations and one center". The very long baseline interference measurement network is like a super "climate eye", which combines multiple large telescopes distributed across the country, thereby greatly improving the sensitivity and spatial resolution of observations. The project has served the orbital measurement mission of China's lunar exploration project for many years. In the future, it will also ensure the implementation of the fourth phase of the lunar exploration and other deep space exploration missions, and will also help astronomers carry out cutting-edge observation and research.
