The Ministry of Education and eight other departments have made it clear that in order to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of enterprises to participate in the integration of industry and education, optimize the structure of the teacher team, and promote the organic combination of talent training in colleges and universities with engineering practice and scientific and technological innovation, the Ministry of Education, together with the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued the "Regulations on the Management of Part-time Teachers of the Industry of Ordinary Undergraduate Colleges and Universities".

Who can become part-time teachers in the industry?

A part-time industry teachers refer to industry experts, professional and technical talents and high-skilled talents hired by ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities to undertake specific educational, teaching and practical innovation tasks in part-time.

The "Management Measures" clarify the industry source and professional experience of part-time teachers in the industry. Part-time industry teachers generally have three or more years of work experience in key enterprises and institutions in the country and province (autonomous regions and municipalities), large and medium-sized high-tech enterprises or industry societies (associations), specialized and specialized enterprises, and small giant enterprises.

In principle, it should be an in-service employee of enterprises and institutions. The age at the time of employment shall not exceed 65 years old (inclusive). Experts in urgently needed by the country can be relaxed to 70 years old.

In principle, you have a bachelor's degree or above, a professional and technical position at the associate senior or above, or a senior technician or above skill level or industry senior experience; it is encouraged to hire skilled craftsmen with a certain reputation and attainments in related industries as part-time teachers, and the requirements for academic qualifications and titles can be appropriately relaxed.
