10910 meters! my country's first exploration well with over 10,000 meters, has completed drilling and set several world records
The reporter learned from China's deep-ground engineering that my country's deep-ground engineering has made a major breakthrough. The first exploration well with over 10,910 meters underground completed the drilling task, becoming the first vertical and second deep well in Asia and the second world's world, and has set many world records.

The deep-ground Takramakan Desert in Xinjiang, after nearly two years of drilling, the deep-ground Takramakan Well completed the drilling task not only obtained the first core specimen of 10,000 meters underground in my country, but also found oil and gas underground in 10,000 meters. This is the first time in the world. The completion of this drilling task marks a significant progress in my country's scientific exploration in the deep-ground field.
Deep-district Taco Well 1 is located in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is a major "deep-district project" implemented by my country's "marching towards the deep earth" and shoulders the dual tasks of scientific exploration and discovering oil and gas. Diamonds will start on May 30, 2023. It took only 279 days to drill from the surface to the depths of 10,000 meters; and it took more than 300 days to sprint from the last nearly 1 kilometer. During the drilling process, active oil and gas displays were found.

Wang Chunsheng, chief expert of China Petroleum Tarim Oilfield Enterprise, said that every meter deep in 10,000 meters is a challenge. We overcome difficulties such as overload load, well wall instability, drilling tool fatigue, tool failure, and malignant formation well leakage. It drilled through 12 sets of formations in the Tarim Basin continuously, and finally drilled high-quality rocks that could produce oil and gas in the well section of 10,851 meters to 10,910 meters. This is the first time that oil and gas are discovered below 10,000 meters in land, greatly expanding new areas of oil and gas exploration in deep 10,000 meters.
