CCTV News: Sichuan and Chongqing are one of the important natural gas production bases in my country. At present, the construction of the eastern section of the Sichuan-East Gas Transmission Second Line Natural Gas Pipeline is being comprehensively promoted.
The Sichuan-East Transmission Line 2 is 4,269 kilometers long and passes through eight provinces and cities including Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, etc. The entire line is constructed in sections according to the western section (Sichuan-Chongqing-Hubei section) and the eastern section (Huzhou, Henan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang and Fujian section). The eastern section is 2,698 kilometers long and includes 1 trunk line, 2 connecting lines and 3 branch line. The pipeline design pressure is 10 megapas and the annual design output is 14 billion cubic meters.
The eastern section of Sichuan gas transmission line East Sends Second Line, passing through six provinces including Hubei, Henan, Anhui, etc., and the pipeline is mostly dominated by mountainous areas. During the construction process, through the extensive application of new technologies and the large-scale use of domestic equipment, the quality, efficiency and safety and environmental protection level of engineering construction are comprehensively improved.
After the complete line of Sichuan Gas East Transportation Second Line is fully opened, it will be operated in conjunction with the existing Sichuan Gas East Transportation Pipeline. The annual gas transmission capacity of the Sichuan Gas East Transportation Pipeline System can reach 26 billion cubic meters, which will effectively ensure the smooth flow of natural gas export channels in the Sichuan Basin and is of great significance to achieving flexible allocation of resources within the region.
