CCTV News: Ice and snow tourism continues to heat up, and a large number of southern tourists go to the north to experience the charm of ice and snow. At the same time, a large number of northern tourists also chose to go to the south to experience the warmth and humidity, and tourists from the north and south have started a "two-way rushing".

With the opening of Harbin's Ice and Snow World, "Erbin" has become one of the "top" destinations for winter tourism. According to data from multiple travel platforms, Harbin ranks first in the list of popular cities for ice and snow tours, and its main sources of customers are southern cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Guangzhou.

Among many southern tourists, the arrival of Guangxi's "Little Sugar Oranges" has attracted much attention. In late December 2024, 23 children started a 20-day study tour under the leadership of their teachers. Now, the trip is coming to an end, and the children have gained knowledge and friendship in the snow and ice.

The "little sugar oranges" bravely break into the snow and ice, which is just a small microcosm of winter tourism in Northeast China. Data from a travel platform shows that in the 2025 ice and snow season, southern tourists account for nearly 80% of the passenger flow to the Northeast. A large number of northern tourists regard the south as an option for winter travel. The Asian Winter Games Elements Ice Sculpture attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to "check in"
The design and construction of this year's Ice and Snow World Park fully integrates the Asian Winter Games elements. The park presents the landmark landscape of members of the Asia Olympic Council in the form of ice and snow, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists to come and "check in".

In front of the ice sculptures of Bayon Temple in Cambodia, the reporter met a team from Cambodia who was filming.

In the park, the Golden Bauhinia in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Grand Sanba Archway in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the Taipei 101 Building in Taiwan were also made into ice sculpture landscapes, attracting many tourists to "check in" and take a photo.

According to statistics, since the official opening of the park on December 21, 2024, Harbin Ice and Snow World has received a total of 846,200 tourists, an increase of 24.7% over the same period in 2024.
