Snowboarding is a snowboarding competition that uses snowboards as a tool to quickly rotate and fall on specified hillside lines, or jump on landslides in a special "U"-shaped field and complete various difficult actions in the air.

It has been the Olympic event for the first time since 1998. This Asian Winter Games snowboarding is divided into small items such as U-shaped venue skills for men and women, slope obstacle skills for men and women, and large jumping platforms for men and women.

Snowboard U-shaped field skills are that athletes slide from one side to the other along the left and right groove walls of the track in an inclined semicircular track (bowl-shaped ramp), and perform a series of somersaults and body swings while leaving the track to flew. This track shape is similar to the English letter "U", hence the name of the U-shaped venue. The contestants need to show themselves through two performance opportunities.

Snowboard slope obstacle skills require athletes to show their superb skills and creativity through technical movements such as flying, jumping, tumbling, and rotating when passing various obstacles on the track at high speed.

Unlike other projects, the design of each track of slope obstacle skills is unique, so contestants also need to have strong adaptability.

The big snowboard jump is a contestant sliding down from a high place and soaring through the big jump, performing various aerial skills such as somersaults and slewing. The site of the big jump platform is divided into four parts: assisted sliding area, takeoff platform, landing slope and ending area.
