CCTV News: On January 7, my country's largest photovoltaic energy storage power station in Laizhou, the largest saline-alkali tidal flat photo storage integrated project, was put into production and generation on the banks of the Bohai Bay. Large areas of saline-alkali land have turned into a new oasis of clean energy.

Huadian Laizhou Large-scale Salt-alkali Mudflat Photo Storage Integrated Project is one of the third batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases in the country, with an installed capacity of 1,000 megawatts and a supporting construction of 200 megawatt/400 megawatt-hour electrochemical energy storage projects. The power station integrates "photovoltaic power generation + salt production" to realize the composite industrial model.

Wang Gang, deputy chief engineer of Huadian Laizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd., introduced that after the project is put into production, it can generate 1.442 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity each year, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of 500,000 households. 444,000 tons of standard coal were saved annually.
