It was learned from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources that according to the "Sichuan Province Emergency Plan for Emergency Geological Disasters (Revised in 2024)", after research and decision, the Provincial Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Command launched the Sichuan Provincial Geological Disaster Level 3 emergency response at 13:30 on February 8. Then at 15:30, the Provincial Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Command was upgraded to Sichuan Province's first-level emergency response.
