On February 7, the State Administration for Financial Regulation issued an approval, agreeing to prepare for the establishment of Henan Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., and complete the preparation work within 6 months from the date of approval.
It is reported that in addition to Henan Rural Commercial Bank, the institutions involved in the establishment of Henan Rural Commercial Bank also include 23 Rural Commercial Banks (Rural Credit Union) in Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Puyang, Jiyuan and other cities and Xingyang Lifeng Rural Commercial Bank, a total of 25 legal entities.
The original stock funds of these 25 legal entities involved in the establishment of Henan Rural Commercial Bank are disposed of in accordance with the principles of marketization and rule of law. All the claims and debts of the 25 legal entities are undertaken by the established Henan Rural Commercial Bank. The operating profit and loss of 25 legal entities from the date of inventory and asset verification to the opening of Henan Rural Commercial Bank will be enjoyed and borne by all shareholders of Henan Rural Commercial Bank after its establishment.
It is understood that the Henan Rural Commercial Bank system is the provincial local banking financial institution with the largest asset scale, the largest number of outlets and the widest service scope in Henan Province. As of the end of December 2024, there were 135 municipal and county rural commercial banks (Rural Credit Cooperatives) in Henan Rural Commercial Bank system, with 44,800 employees and 4,263 business outlets, covering all cities, counties, townships (towns) in Henan Province; the total assets are 2.58 trillion yuan, the deposit balance is 2.16 trillion yuan, and the loan balance is 1.3 trillion yuan, and the deposit and loan balance and market share are both the first among banking financial institutions in Henan Province.
