On February 7th local time, a person who claimed to be a U.S. Embassy in the Philippines was stopped by Philippine law enforcement officers for illegally occupying a bus lane in the Philippines and asked to view his diplomatic documents. As a result, the US diplomats refused to cooperate and even resisted law enforcement on the grounds that they "can take photos of passports and sell them to 'Chinese spies'."
