According to the report, statistics show that China ranks first in the ranking of relevant patent invention countries, with Japan, the United States, South Korea and Germany ranked second to fifth respectively. The global proportion of relevant patents and inventions in the five countries has reached more than 90%. The report also said that from 2018 to 2023, China's compound annual growth rate in the field of future transportation technology patent inventions will also rank first in the world, reaching 14.3%. At the same time, China is also leading the world in terms of the number and growth of patent inventions in all four fields: land, sea, air and space transportation.
The report stated that innovations in the global transportation field are increasingly concentrated on more environmentally friendly "future technologies", such as air taxis, electric vehicle wireless charging technology and autonomous cargo ships, and the emerging new technologies are reshaping the transportation industry.
