A relevant person in charge of Haikou Customs introduced that the "zero tariff" policy is an important institutional design for Hainan Free Trade Port. Since the implementation of the policy, the "zero tariff" list has continued to expand and increase efficiency. Among them, the "zero tariff" policy for raw and auxiliary materials that was first implemented has been operating smoothly for four years, and the list of raw and auxiliary materials has been added from 187 items to 653 items at present. This year, Haikou Customs will continue to promote the continuous expansion and efficiency of the series of policies such as the "zero tariff" policy for processing value-added domestic sales, the pilot of import tax policies for temporary import and export maintenance goods, and the "zero tariff" drug and medical device policy.
