CCTV News: The reporter learned from China National Offshore Oil Corporation on February 7 that the Bozhong 26-6 oilfield development project located in the Bohai Sea of my country was successfully put into production, marking the official entry of the world's largest metamorphic rock Qianshan oil field into the production stage, which is of great significance to ensuring national energy security.
The Bozhong 26-6 Oil Field is located in the central waters of the Bohai Sea, about 170 kilometers from Tianjin City, with an average water depth of about 20 meters. The oil field is divided into two development projects: Phase I and Phase II. The main production facilities of the Phase I development project currently put into production include the construction of a new central processing platform and an unmanned wellhead platform.
Liu Jingliang, director of Bozhong 26-6 Oilfield, China National Offshore Oil Corporation Tianjin Branch, introduced that the first phase of the Bozhong 26-6 Oilfield development project is planned to be put into production and development of 33 wells, with the peak daily oil and gas equivalent exceeding 3,500 cubic meters.
Since its discovery in 2022, the geological reserves of oil and gas in Bozhong 26-6 oil field have been proven to exceed 150 million tons of oil and geological reserves. According to the normal recovery rate, more than 20 million tons of crude oil and more than 11 billion cubic meters of natural gas can be mined.
