In order to ensure the safety of passengers' travel, staff from the Shanxi section of the Daxi High-speed Railway patrol the line and repair it all night and eliminate safety hazards in a timely manner.
The contact network is called the "lifeline" of the high-speed rail as the only source of power for high-speed rail operation. Every night, after the last train on the Shanxi section of the Daxi High-speed Railway reaches the terminal safely, the contact network operator enters the high-speed railway line and inspects the contact network. In the past few days, the cooling rate has been obvious. At 2 a.m., the outdoor temperature is only minus 10 degrees Celsius. The high-speed rail contact net workers are still repairing the 7-meter-high working table, and the gas often turns into ice on the hat.
It is understood that in order to ensure operational safety, 8 working vehicles and about 40 contact network workers patrol the night of 1,100 kilometers of high-speed rail under their jurisdiction.
