CCTV News: Monitoring data from the State Post Bureau shows that during this year's Spring Festival holiday (January 28 to February 4), the national postal and express delivery industry will operate safely and smoothly, the delivery channels will be smooth and orderly, the industry's business volume will maintain a good growth trend, and more than 1.9 billion express parcels will be collected and delivered. Among them, 1.145 billion express parcels were collected, an increase of 31% compared with the same period of the lunar calendar last year, and 782 million express parcels were delivered, an increase of 26.7% compared with the same period of the lunar calendar last year.
The good growth in the number of express parcels further highlights the positive role of the postal express industry in ensuring smooth traffic and warm delivery. Especially since the beginning of the Spring Festival travel rush (January 14 to February 4), the national postal express delivery industry has collected 8.035 billion express parcels, an increase of 37.6% compared with the same period of the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush; 8.646 billion express parcels were delivered, an increase of 35% compared with the same period of the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush. Packages not only carry warmth and blessings, but also stimulate the vitality and potential of the consumer market.
