CCTV News: According to the State Immigration Administration, during this year's Spring Festival holiday, the national border inspection agencies guaranteed a total of 14.366 million Chinese and foreign personnel entering and leaving the country, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year's Spring Festival. Among them, 7.671 million mainland residents entered and exited the country, an increase of 5% over the same period last year; 5.737 million Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, an increase of 5.6% over the same period last year; 958,000 foreigners, an increase of 22.9% over the same period last year. A total of 525,000 inbound and outbound transportation vehicles (ships, ships, vehicles) were inspected, an increase of 14.4% over the same period last year's Spring Festival, and customs clearance of national sea, land, air and ports was stable and orderly.
In accordance with the unified deployment of the State Immigration Administration, all police officers from the border inspection agencies across the country mobilized and took the initiative to predict and announce to the public the peak hours of entry and exit personnel flow at each port in advance, reminding and guiding the majority of entry and exit passengers to reasonably arrange their itineraries and travel off-peak; strengthening prompt guidance, scientifically organize service, prepare full duty police force, open up full inspection channels to ensure that Chinese citizens’ entry and exit customs clearance queues do not exceed 30 minutes; closely collaborate with the port joint inspection units and local relevant departments, and steadily carry out comprehensive guarantees for passenger flow during peak periods, maximize the convenience of passenger customs clearance, and jointly ensure safe, efficient and smooth customs clearance at the port.
