CCTV News: According to the Beijing Transportation WeChat official account, on February 4th (the seventh day of the lunar month), the city ushered in the peak of passenger flow returning to Beijing during the Spring Festival holiday, with about 2.45 million passengers entering Beijing, of which about 1.08 million passengers arriving in Beijing were expected to arrive in Beijing at night (23:00 to 5:00 the next day), and the connection pressure was high. According to the distribution of passenger flow, the transportation department will strengthen the deployment and organization of capacity in key periods and key areas, and provide comprehensive services for large passenger flow transportation. 10 rail transit routes are delayed, ground buses are focusing on additional night shift capacity, taxis and online car-hailing services are strengthened, and timely dispatch is carried out according to changes in passenger flow, and multiple measures are taken to serve passengers to return to Beijing conveniently and smoothly.

In terms of expressways, it is expected that traffic pressure will be high in Beijing from this afternoon to evening. There may be short-term queues in Beijing-Chengdu Main Station, Beijing-Tangxi Qinghe, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Dujiakan and other expressway main line toll stations, as well as highway inspection stations such as Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Beijing-Chengdu, and Beijing-Kai.

Today is the last day when small passenger cars are exempted from expressway tolls. The deadline is 24:00. The expressway shall be based on the time when the vehicle leaves the exit toll lane, and the ordinary highway shall be based on the time when the vehicle passes the toll lane at the toll station. The lanes of the expressway toll station are fully opened, and front-mounted obstacle clearance and rescue forces can quickly clear and fast in case of accidents to ensure smooth travel on the expressway. In terms of rail transit, the 10 lines serving the "seven stations and two fields" have adopted measures such as delay and early door opening operations to ensure large passenger flow:

The upward and downward lines of Beijing Station on Line 2, Beijing West Station on Line 7, Beijing West Station on Line 9, Beijing South Station on Line 4, Beijing South Station on Line 14, Beijing South Station on Line 10, Fengtai Station on Line 10 (Songjiazhuang to Bagou section), Fengtai Station on Line 16 (Fengtai to National Library section), Chaoyang Station on Line 3 delayed downward lines of 2:00 on the next day; the upward lines of Caoqiao Station on Line 19 were delayed to 1:30 on the next day; the upward lines of Daxing Airport Station were delayed to 1:00 on the next day.

On February 5, Beijing Station of Line 2, Beijing West Station of Line 7, Line 9, Fengtai Station of Line 10 and Line 16 will open to 5 o'clock in advance.

In terms of ground buses, in combination with changes in passenger flow situations in key areas and in cooperation with the delayed subway operation, dynamically adjust bus numbers and departure intervals, enlarge night shift lines, especially strengthen the guarantee of emergency ferry vehicles at railway stations, and plan to invest 51 vehicles to promptly remove passenger flow.

In terms of online rental contracts, we will strengthen the "point protection" and dispatch at night, and dispatch more than 3,000 "point protection" cruising vehicles on peak days; coordinate the Didi platform and Gaode Company to increase the red envelope rewards on the station to increase drivers' operating enthusiasm, and at the same time dispatch more than 1,000 online taxis to form a guarantee fleet, which is specially used for emergency and bottom-line guarantee.

The city has ushered in a peak return to Beijing since February 2, and the passenger flow back to Beijing has continued to rise for three consecutive days. From 23:00 on February 3 to 2:00 on the 4th, the railway "seven stations" arrived in Beijing 72,000, and 9 subway lines were delayed to operate. 141 trains were issued. The delayed operation of the subway and the emergency bus shuttle buses received a total of 33,000 passengers. The public transportation sharing rate was nearly 50%, which facilitated the rapid departure and convenient transfer of passengers arriving in Beijing at night.

The municipal transportation department reminds passengers: the railway station area has a large passenger flow during the holidays, and it is recommended that citizens give priority to public transportation such as subways and buses, and arrange travel plans reasonably.
