CCTV News (News Network): The reporter learned from the National Development and Reform Commission on February 4 that with the efforts and effectiveness of a series of measures, my country's social logistics costs are showing a steady decline. The latest statistical accounting results show that in 2024, the ratio of total social logistics expenses to GDP in my country was 14.1%, down 0.3 percentage points from the previous year, falling to the lowest level since the official establishment of statistics in 2006.
In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments will accelerate the implementation of railway freight network projects and inland water transport system connectivity projects, support regions with conditions to build international logistics hub centers and commodity resource allocation hubs, and strive to reduce the ratio of total social logistics costs to GDP to about 13.5% by 2027.
