On February 2, the daily passenger flow at Shanghai Airport exceeded 400,000 for the first time, reaching 404,000 (including 259,000 at Pudong Airport and 145,000 at Hongqiao Airport), setting a new record high. After 398,000 at February 1, it hit a new daily passenger flow for the second consecutive day.

Since this year's Spring Festival travel rush, the number of tourists "ice and snow tours" and "cold avoidance tours" have increased significantly, and the demand for cross-border tours is strong, and the flow of visiting relatives, students, and tourism tours overlap. The number of flights and passenger flows at Shanghai airports have continued to rise.
From January 28 (New Year's Eve) to February 1 (the fourth day of the first lunar month), Shanghai Airport guaranteed a total of 12,000 flights (including 8,000 flights at Pudong Airport and 4,000 flights at Hongqiao Airport), an increase of 5% year-on-year compared with last year's Spring Festival; 1.847 million passengers were guaranteed (including 1.187 million passengers at Pudong Airport and 660,000 flights at Hongqiao Airport), with an average daily average of 369,000, an increase of 6% year-on-year compared with last year's Spring Festival.

Since this year, Shanghai Airport has actively promoted airlines to expand its hub route network. On January 11, it opened the Shanghai to and from Serbia Belgrade route; on January 19, it opened the Shanghai to and from Casablanca, Morocco (stopped by Marseille). The frequency of flights from Shanghai to Osaka, Nagoya, Australia, Sydney, Melbourne, Maldives, and Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Guilin, Jieyang and other destinations in China has been further encrypted, making it easier for passengers to travel during the Spring Festival.
