2025-04-29 source:Xinhua News Agency

Ho Yadong, spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, recently said that the Ministry of Commerce will do a good job in "subtraction" of the negative list and "addition" of optimizing the business environment, so that foreign-funded enterprises can feel at ease, reassure and have confidence, and let "the next 'China' is still China."

He introduced that in 2025, the Ministry of Commerce will increase its efforts to attract investment and stabilize investment, focusing on the following work:

First, expand opening up and continue to relax market access. At present, restrictions on foreign investment access in manufacturing have been "cleared". We will steadily promote the opening up of the service industry and promote the expansion of pilot projects for opening up in the fields of telecommunications, medical care, education, etc. The "Catalogue of Industries Encouraging Foreign Investment" will also be revised and expanded to enhance the attractiveness of investment-attracting policies.

The second is to build a brand and organize the "Invest in China" activities with high quality. We will continue to carry out investment promotion, project docking, policy promotion, thematic seminars and other activities at home and abroad, and build the Investment and Trade Fair into a landmark exhibition of "Investing in China".

The third is to strengthen services and create a first-class business environment. We will enhance the professionalism and pertinence of the topics selected by foreign-funded enterprises, focus on corporate attention, and solve corporate demands. We will treat all equally and support domestic and foreign-funded enterprises to participate in large-scale equipment renewal, consumer goods trade-in, government procurement, bidding and other activities, and provide a fair competitive environment for foreign-funded enterprises.
