In 2008, Chen Haoxiang came to the mainland for the first time on a business trip. At that time, the rapid development of the mainland broke his previous cognition, and the shocking glance when he first "landed" left a deep impression on him.

Maybe it is because you never forget it, there will be a resounding response. Two years later, Chen Haoxiang followed his father-in-law's footsteps to Zhuji, Zhejiang and joined Zhejiang Century Fiber Textile Co., Ltd. This time, he took root in Zhuji, the "sock capital", gradually took over the baton, and began to take over the company's various businesses.

"Zhuji is the world's largest sock production base, with a complete upstream and downstream industrial chain and a broad market." Chen Haoxiang's textile enterprises keep up with the development trend and are engaged in the entire line of R&D, production and sales.

As a Taiwanese enterprise, Chen Haoxiang has been quite moved by some quietly changing changes in the past decade since he was rooted in the mainland.

Initially, the equipment used in the factory was brought by Chen Haoxiang from Taiwan, which was strong and durable, but it was relatively inconvenient to update. Later, as the mainland's machinery and equipment continued to iterate and improve, enterprises began to use mainland equipment and technology for production, and the introduction of new machines also allowed new technologies to "bear fruitful" in factories.

"From the subtle point, the transmission of design drawings has also undergone great changes." Chen Haoxiang recalled that he initially used floppy disk transmission, but later used USB drives and wired networks. Now real-time transmission can be achieved in the cloud through wireless networks.

The update and upgrading of production equipment and technology allowed the company to develop rapidly, and Chen Haoxiang also began to explore new sales methods and market space.

"In the past, we exported more to European and American countries and regions. Now we have begun to explore the mainland market and have also begun to try new sales methods such as e-commerce live broadcasts." Chen Haoxiang is looking forward to opening the new door through the key to transformation.

Now, Chen Haoxiang's wife and children still live in Taiwan. He often travels between Zhejiang and Taiwan and has become a "gold medal purchasing agent" for his friends on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

"When I came to the mainland many years ago, I always stuffed my suitcases and brought a lot of daily necessities over, but now I am more of helping Taiwanese friends bring good things from the mainland, and even friends have designated to buy fake eyelashes from the mainland." For more than ten years, Chen Haoxiang's suitcase has been like a "treasure box", full of good things from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

This Spring Festival, Chen Haoxiang's suitcase contains gifts from mainland drones, remote-controlled cars, etc. to children. This is the latest trendy toy at present. He hopes that the children can come to the mainland to study and develop in the future, "because there are more opportunities and a bigger stage here."

From the heavy land to the full ground, a small suitcase is a microcosm of the rapid development of the mainland and a witness to the exchanges and integration between cross-straits.
