CCTV News: According to the website of the Ministry of Finance, in order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Dingri County, Shigatse, Tibet, on January 7, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 100 million yuan of central natural disaster relief funds to support Tibet in doing a good job in earthquake disaster relief, coordinated the emergency rescue and rescue of the affected people, and focused on the search, rescue, transfer and resettlement of disaster-affected personnel, eliminating hazards, checking and emergency rectification of secondary disaster hazards, and restoration of damaged houses.
The Ministry of Finance requires the Tibet Finance Department to speed up the allocation of funds to the disaster area, timely understand and grasp the emergency rescue fund arrangements and fund needs of the disaster area, take measures to ensure full guarantees, and effectively strengthen fund supervision, and give full play to the benefits of funds.
