CCTV News: Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has jointly carried out various forms of job docking activities to ensure the needs of holiday employment.

At a pre-fession job matching meeting in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, more than 60 companies provided more than 3,000 positions. For express delivery and housekeeping industries at peak employment during the Spring Festival, many companies offer double or even triple wages to retain people.

Zhu Qinbo, a courier from Sichuan, told reporters that because of the generous subsidies, he decided to stay in Wenzhou for the New Year.

In Changshu, Jiangsu, Li Xiaomu, a labor and social security co-organizer in Zhaoshi Village, Meili Town, was also busy with employment assistance before the festival. For young people returning home and gig workers, Li Xiaomu checks employment information every day and provides timely assistance and docking.

Wu Hui, who just graduated from college, was recently hired by a local clothing company with the help of Li Xiaomu.

Changshu, Jiangsu: Strengthen training, issue subsidies, and take multiple measures to promote employment

In addition to connecting with jobs, local governments also provide a variety of training for college graduates, on-the-job personnel, and transferred personnel to better achieve precise employment.

In the Industrial Skills Training Center in Changshu, Jiangsu, Zhu Hanyuan, who has just graduated from a vocational college, is undergoing practical training. Before participating in the training, Zhu Hanyuan worked in a new energy vehicle company, but due to the single technology, there is little room for improvement, so he decided to participate in advanced skills training such as electrical debugging.

With the support of technology, Zhu Hanyuan also has more choices. Recently, he was hired as an assistant engineer by an electrical company. In 2024, more than 4,000 people like Zhu Hanyuan participated in the training at the Industrial Skills Training Center.

In addition, for enterprises that carry out pre-job training, skills improvement, and new apprenticeship training, the Changshu Human Resources and Social Security Department of Jiangsu Province will provide training subsidies of 350 to 8,000 yuan per person according to the training project and certificate level. A total of 9.595 million yuan in training subsidies will be issued in 2024.

In Wenzhou, Zhejiang, the local human resources and social security department has also launched 23 skill training courses such as clothing plate makers and CNC lathes for free in response to local industry characteristics.
