CCTV News (News Network): Data from the 2025 comprehensive transportation Spring Festival travel work team showed that on February 1, the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was expected to be 308.14 million, and the daily personnel flow continued to remain above 300 million.
After half of the Spring Festival holiday, the number of migrant workers increased significantly. Special trains for migrant workers have been launched in Dazhou, Sichuan, Nanyang, Henan, and Zaoyang, Hubei. The national railway is expected to send 13.3 million passengers on February 1, and 791 passenger trains will be added.
On February 1, the flow of highway personnel was about 290 million. In order to cope with the new round of rain, snow and heavy fog, Shandong, Henan, Hunan and other places have established provincial, municipal and county meteorological linkage mechanisms, accurately position key sections, and timely release early warning information to minimize the adverse impact of rain, snow and heavy fog on highway travel.
In terms of water transportation, passenger and rolling transportation routes that were affected by short-term heavy fog in the Qiongzhou Strait will resume navigation on the morning of February 1. In terms of civil aviation, 18,446 flights are expected to fly on February 1, a significant increase from January 31. Since the Spring Festival travel rush, the average daily flights in the country have reached 18,664, an increase of 8.18% year-on-year.
