Affected by the short-term heavy fog in the Qiongzhou Strait, Hainan Haikou Xiuying Port, Xinhai Port and Railway South Port stopped sailing at 6 am today (February 1). At 8:50 am, the impact of heavy fog weakened, and the three ports gradually resumed navigation. As of 12 noon, due to the short suspension of flights, vehicles and passengers waiting to ferry have been evacuated.

The reporter learned from the port that the peak of return will last from today to the seventh day of the first lunar month, and the highest peak is expected to appear on the sixth day of the first lunar month.

At present, the five ports on both sides of the Qiongzhou Strait have implemented the mode of early purchase of tickets and later entry. Passengers must make reservations to purchase tickets through the online platform in advance. At the same time, they must pay attention to the weather changes in the past few days and plan their itinerary reasonably.
